Today I went for a wander to the NY public library. I had seen on TV that there was a parade today for Puerto Rico on 5th avenue right near the library.
So I went to go have a look at the parade. It was a bit crowded so I didn’t stay too long after grabbing a few pictures.
Spent a bit of time at the library. The wifi there could actually handle me adding some pictures and updating this blog. It is a very cool building, and it is celebrating 100 years. That seems to be my trend for this trip, to visit places celebrating anniversaries. So I got to see a cool exhibit with various books and early drafts of things, like the declaration of independence, maps and plays and stuff. Also some modern art, advertising and a kkk cloak. It was an eclectic mix.
Next I walked over to Times Square and that was cool to wander for a bit. I wasn’t in the mood for properly checking anything out, so will probably head there again. They had set up some seats because they were showing the Tony awards live later in the evening. There was also a mini red carpet with a Tony’s background so tourists could take photos, so I did š
