Art: Ancient Greek and Dali

I already wrote half this post, then forgot to save! So this update will be much shorter than planned.

First I went to the Alte Museum in the Museums island area near where we were staying. But I was museumed out so only looked at the Greek myths and legends and jewelry section. I decided to skip the Neue Museum due to the queue.

It was pretty miserable and rainy on Friday, ghost kite got injured and has since retired due to getting the plastic ripped at the button which kept the hood on. I have picked up a new tourist style rain poncho, who is nicknamed the Grey Ghost! He was free at an underground station.

I then went to hackescher Markt, where I looked around the hackescher hofe, which was a pretty neat boutiquey place, and had the original traffic light man shop. The traffic light man is cute because he is kinda funny shaped (only has 1 arm on the go light) and wears a hat. But didn’t buy anything.

Then I went to potsdamer platz again. Nearby I saw a symbol on the map for a remaining watch tower so I went and took a photo of it. It was right by the Salvidor Dali Museum so I decided to hide from the rain and go for a look. It was very interesting art work, and I liked the Alice in wonderland series and also the sculptures best.

Then I went to grab lunch and wander around the shops until I went to see Bad Teacher at the movies and have Nachos and Beer in the cinema. Because I could, and it suited the tone of the movie I think.
